Anyone running this. SC Peach Festival 5kDash w/5k Walk, 10kRun & 1 mile fun run

I only want to do this as I have never run a 10K yet, and there are not many 10k's around in our area.

Also same 15 dollars for either a 5K or a 10K, so more miles for the buck, and yeah I am cheap.

I was going to but after last weekends race I decided to save 10ks and longer for the fall. A friend and I will be doing the 4 miler that day instead. I've never done a 4 miler so it will be a first for me. I do like 10ks though, I'm just not ready to race one in the July heat. I'd rather do a 10k over a 5k any day when I'm fit enough.

Sounds like it'll be a good one, but it's the same day as the RFYL 4-miler, which is the second of only two double points races in the Charlotte Grand Prix. I can't miss that one. A friend of ours, Heather W., is running it though and has run it before and says it's really a good race.
