do any of you ride or are familiar with Parker road/83? is it ok or allowed to bike on that road? i live near it and i would like to ride around the area. i was riding around trying to get to know the neighbourhood yesterday and got lost and what I had planed as an easy 1 1/2 hour day turned out to be a four hour trek. I did find the Cherry Creek Park trail system. that was fun.

I don't ride, but I do drive....and I wouldn't trust my life to some of the idiots driving up and down Parker Road! If you are well south of town (south of Parker even) then the road is a little better. In fact, the area from Franktown to Black Forest area seems like it might be a nice ride. Other roads (I'm thinking of Perry Park Road) in that area might be a better (read: SAFER) bet. I see a lot of bikers on the frontage roads between Castle Rock and Larkspur, also.
