    ·         Fresh Hop IPA

o   A truckload of fresh hops on a midnight run from Washington State to Northern Colorado made it to our kettles just in time. Fresh Hop IPA is a citrus punch of the green stuff: Amarillo, Centennial and Cascade hops straight off the vine. This brazen and deliciously bitter IPA pours deeply golden with the slight haze of a really hoppy beer. The fresh hops poke you right in the nose and the liquid hits your tongue with a sharp blast, finishing light and dry. This is the hop harvest, in a glass, just for you.

    In hand.

        ·         Prickly Passion Saison

Both of these plus Belgo and Frambozen have shown up at the place I go to in SC.  Now I just have to hope that they are all still there when my buddy goes through in December.

        Idiot

          Drinking a 1554 now.  Damn, it's good.

Picked up some of this in Nashville, my first New Belgium experience.  Damn, is right.

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

            Heh.

            Just got delivery.  The haul....

            6 Abbey

            6 1554

            6 Ranger

            6 Hoptober

            2 Abbey Grand Cru

            2 Super Cru

Abbey is one of my all time faves but can't get it here in Canada. Since I moved I miss Abbey but get Leffe, which I find similar, when in Europe! Enjoy those abbeys!!

I got a call from my buddy just as he was leaving the beer store in SC.  My order has been filled.

2 bottles each Fresh Hop IPA and Prickly Passion Saison.

              1 six pack Frambozen

              1 six pack Snow Day

              2 six packs Belgo

              Can't wait to take delivery!

              Semi-retired.

Nice.  But you under-ordered the Snow Day Smile

Let us know what you think of the Prickly.  It has gotten mixed reviews.  I thought it was fine, nothing special.

Well, when I was down south in November I bought 3 six packs of Snow Day and still have a few bottles left.  The extra six pack was a last minute addition.  Yes, it is very tasty.

Will let you know on the Prickly, although you will probably need to wait until spring.  I'm still in dark beer mode.

The one that I am really interested in sampling is the Belgo.

The prickly saison is not dark, not really.  It is an amber farmhouse style beer, pretty light.

Delivery received.  I may have to add another shelving unit in my basement.  Cripes.

I already have a bottle of the Biere de Mars. It has okay reviews. I have not yet seen the Cocoa Molé, will have to go hunting!

                              Holy crap.

Spicy, chocolate, cinnamon, well-hidden alcohol (9%abv). Gonna have to buy a couple hundred bombers of this one. Damn!

                              Wow.
