Beer's black market (Read 82 times)

Prince of Fatness

    Interesting article, thanks.

As much as I love beer I cannot see myself ever getting caught up in all of this black market stuff.  Between living in an area where there is a lot of quality beer available and having others that I have traded with I get to sample quite a variety.  It is not worth it to pay an outrageous sum for even a rare beer.  And I would never buy beer just to turn it over for a profit.  If I got something good I would prefer to share it with someone else that would enjoy it.

I can see how this pisses of the brewers.

    Not at it at all.

Every time you ship beer, you are part of the black market. That Dark Lord you enjoyed? Ditto.

If you would like to split hairs (not that you ever do that) I guess you could say that.  However, trading beer is different than auctioning it for profit, IMO.
