    My new favorite beach, complete with beer delivery!

    Now, this is a great idea! Read on below, but visitors to Pleasure Island will be able to have beer delivered to them right on the beach! What a great country!

    WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - At one North Carolina beach, visitors can leave their coolers at home. Someone else will bring the beer.

    The StarNews of Wilmington reported that a drive-through convenience store will begin delivering beer on Friday to Freeman Park on the north end of Pleasure Island.

    Brew Thru owner John Childers recently asked Carolina Beach officals about the possibility of beer delivery. Town officials decided they didn't have jurisdiction to regulate beer sales.

    Childers says Brew Thru plans to deliver beer every two hours, beginning at 1 p.m., for those who ordered 30 minutes earlier. The delivery driver will verify the buyer's age and identity.

      That's cool. I know there is a brew thru in Corolla. Maybe they will deliver up to 4-wheel drive next week when I run low.
