Yeah, I should...I had a big glass of wine, but a hot toddy sounds good, too. He's lucky he married a Wisconsin girl...we know how to cure colds and flu. Big grin k

Yeah...blech. Mostly I just feel REALLY run-down today. I hope I have this bug like my son did...he was sick for maybe 2 days. About half as long as did was out. My mileage is already in the crapper for the past week+. Tongue

What is your hot toddy recipe?

On your deathbed, you won't wish that you'd spent more time at the office.  But you will wish that you'd spent more time running.  Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.

Dear ol' mom used to give us kids hot toddies. With bourbon, mom was always a bourbon drinker. She'd probably be reported to child protective services nowadays. Arla

I know...good thing I grew up in WI in the 70s and 80s. It was legal to give your kids booze back in the day. My hot toddy recipe is pretty much as follows: big mug splurge of honey (tsp or two) equal amt. lemon juice (we just have the urky reconstituted gunk in a squeeze bottle) hot water to fill, leaving a half inch or so top off with scotch (or brandy or bourbon) Good stuff.
