Who's ready? I am running with a friend who is about 4 weeks behind in training. Both of us are running the Half.

I talked both my Brother and Law and friend from work to do the half with me. Thinking about getting a room downtown the night before.

Zoom you live north of GR or Muskegon? I grew up in Fruitport, Now live in Grand Blanc just south of Flint.

I'm up north of Muskegon, in Montague. Used to live in Spring Lake. There's a sweet HM (sponsored by Old Boys' Brewhouse and Endurance Sports in N. Musk.) that runs on the paved path around Spring Lake. Awesome race. I believe it's Sept. 20 this year. I'd do it if it weren't so close to my marathon (10/5 in Milwaukee).

Ahh, Spring Lake.. I used to ride my bike all over the city. I used to live inbetween Fruitport and Spring Lake, school districts where kind of weird because the kids across the street went to Spring Lake and I went to Fruitport.

Thinks....Not sure if that race would be to close to GR or not..Hmmm.

Man, we would have almost been neighbors, I think. We were on Taft, not far off of W. Spring Lake Rd. Smile

144th Avenue between State Rd and Apple Drive. Write in the middle where Taft deadends into 144th. I moved away in '95. I think my Aunt lived offa taft in a little sub just before Spring Lake road. Between 148th and W.Spring Lake Road.

Ha, we would have been neighbors maybe for a short time. I think we moved to SL in June of '95...lived there for about 5-6 years, IIRC. Such a great area. I'd kill to live so close to that bike path, again. Smile
