How are you all doing? Going nuts, yet (or nuts-er)? Ready? Watching the weather forecast rabidly?
BTW, what's the plan for supper on race eve? I'd love to come down and eat with y'alls.

Yeah, it's stupid, but everything is feeling wrong, wrong, wrong. Not enough running, too fast, too much food, etc. Knowing I didn't come anywhere near the mileage I wanted to hit for training (including not nearly enough long runs) has me pretty worried. I'm a total crab lately too. I think my wife just wants me to get the race over with so I stop snapping every 20 minutes or so. Bah.
Running 26.2 miles is stoopid.

I just looked at your log...you worry too much. You have better mileage than I did, even if your last really long run was few weeks ago--I think Eryn's last 20 miler was almost a month before our race and she still kicked my ass--plus her overall mileage probably only averaged 25-30 miles/week due to work stuff. You're going to be FINE, freakazoid.
I hear you on the snapping thing, though. Oh, man...I was an absolute wreck a week ago. I think I recall one glorious moment when I told did to stay the fuck home...I'd be fine. We were both on kind of bad behavior.
Speaking of spousal units, will your wife and kids be at GR? I need to start looking at the course map, again, to figure out what spots will be good for spectating. Poor Dane...I know he has to be sick to death of watching marathons, but his teacher is running the half, so we need to be there for her, too.

Yep, Rebecca will be in attendence. The kids will be coming over to see me finish, my parents will be bringing them. They're still too young to be expected to hang out for 4+ hrs at an event like this.

Would she want to carpool with the didlet and I to get around the course? She is very welcome to do so. Dane and I want to see his teacher running the half, and all of the RA yahoos, too.
