I was very sad when the Shamrocks picked a marathon on the day of the Bobby Bell, how rude of them.  I take great comfort in knowing that you guys will pick up the beer drinking slack for me.

You didn't specify whether it was a running or drinking PR you were shooting for, make sure you have a driver if you're trying for a double.   Smile

I'm in if I don't end up running Hartford on Saturday. Rick, how is this course? I see that you ran 33 and change last year.

Great!  See you there.

I'm thinking of starting out at 6:30 pace if anyone (Rick?) interested in running the first 2-3 miles together.  I can probably hold that OK right now.

Jason -  hilly.  You should be well prepared from the relay and Lake W runs.

Was just told that I got free entry into Hartford Marathon on Saturday...depending on how I feel, I might do Bobby Bell on Sunday.

Good Luck to all of those running on Sunday!!

I'd say that its a hilly 1st 3 miles and a doiwnhill last 2 miles.....I'm going to go out at 6:20 and try to hold that the 1st 3 and go balls to the wall for the last 2, but I'm not a good downhill runner so???????????

Rick you're too fast for me.  Maybe I'll run the 1st mile with you at 6:20, but that's all.

See you got a nice 50 mpw streak going.  I need to work my way up to that.

I"m sick of getting slower! I went backwards all summer, so I bumped up the miles again. I think about a 6:25-30 1st mile. I did a little time trial monday and ran like 6:45 pace for 5 (no hills) so I don't know if I'm ready for 6:20????????? It's a little diferen't in a race though.........

Yeah it is different, you can get close but you can't simulate a race completely.  If it's a cool day I think 6:20 is a realistic goal for a race.  Run tall, race hard, finish strong.
