That race is over, the last having been run last year.  It's replaced by a new event in Sunnybrook (8k/5k) called Dawn at the Don

And it solves a mystery I've been wondering about for the last while running along Taylor Creek...an orange 4k turnaround painted around a spike in the middle of the path.  It appears this is the turnaround point for the 8k event based on their course mappings.

I'd always liked the nightcrawler, it was my favourite event of the year and one of the best deals out there.

But....there's a big price spike for this one.  Register before May 31st, it's a sorta reasonable 35 bucks.  Price jumps to 55 bucks for near/race day registration, so can't get away with just carrying a 20 to the tent on race day anymore.
