After the race, as soon as you can get there, Fitger's Brewhouse for beer and chow. http://www.brewhouse.net/2005/site/ Fitger's Brewhouse Brewery and Grille:‎ 600 E Superior Street Duluth, MN 55802 (218) 279-2739 Map

I won't be there, but I also recommend for your weekend pleasure. Grizzly's (up the hill near the mall) http://www.grizzlysgrill.com/ Gordy's Hi-Hat (just south off I-35) http://gordys-hihat.com/ Portland Malt Shoppe (along the course, right before Fitger's) http://www.portlandmaltshoppe.com/ FYI - Fitger's is also the big brick building you run past at mile 24. I'm sure you knew that Trent.

To be clear, the Brewhouse where we will dine and drink postrace is about 42 steps from the Portland Malt Shoppe. You can be sure I will be hitting both. And folks, while Fitgers is right next to Mile 24, it is not 2 miles to get back to it after you finish. Thanks Egge!!

Yep, its about a mile, I used to run that almost everyday. Plus, you can just wade through the lake to get to it. That will take care of your ice bath Shocked
I'll be there. I was thinking about the Pepper Jack Burger at Pickwick's, but I can easily settle on a Malt/Brew/Burger combination. Anybody want to go on record for goals? Minimum. Achievable. Pie in the sky. For me, it is (1) to finish (2) Maybe 4 hours (3) Sub 4 hours - 3:59:59! Trent, you can run the course twice and pick me up on the way through the second time. Tom

Pickwicks is next door. Chow at em both Wink 3:29:59 would make me very happy.
4:15 would make me happy, but I'm flexible depending on weather, etc. (having learned this lesson at CMM......)

Out there running since dinosaurs roamed the earth

"As a dreamer of dreams and a travelin' man I have chalked up many a mile. Read dozens of books about heroes and crooks, And I've learned much from both of their styles." ~ Jimmy Buffett

"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit. "No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."”

Ramsay, you need a ride to Duluth or what?

I'm running the half...can I join in for some burgers and beer too? Smile
