Skooter 3.0
It's only a day if you take over 7 hours, since you came in under, you made it a morning
Goals?
Skootr I did make a day of it.
But the monkeys were too tired to bother you, since they could pick on the faster runners!
A Saucy Wench
where the heck do you work and can I get those hours?
10 hours is a day. 7 is merely the pre-meeting

And I am impressed. You came, you conquered and you hurt! You have made me proud. You are far out super cool and groovy. My friends, I know many of you did not believe me when I promised you hills and hurt and pie. Perhaps next time you will listen to me. But alas, I was delighted to see the course deliver on my promises to you. Many of you took pictures or had friends or family do so for you. If you would like me to put them on a shared website for others to see, please let me know. In addition, local photographer Elly Foster took loads of fabulous pics for your review and purchase. Check them out - http://www.ellyfosterphotography.com/ As I say every year, please feel free to leave your honest comments for the world to see, over at marathonguide.com. Marathonguide has helped support this race over the years, and we appreciate it. Your comments will be a good way to warn other runners to heed the lesson you learned on Sunday. Namely, that running this marathon is foolish. http://www.marathonguide.com/races/racereview.cfm?MIDD=2539101121 And, you know, since this was a race, you may want to see your results. Results are posted here, please let me know if you have questions about them: http://www.harpethhillsmarathon.com/ There was one unidentified runner; if it is you, please let me know.We have tentatively set November 20, 2011 for next year's Monkey. Registration will probably open on August 1, at (pay attention) 8:00 AM Central Daylight Time (no, not at midnight). Since you completed Groovy Monkey V, you will likely receive an invitation for an advance registration, since general registration will fill quickly. This invitation will be emailed to you, so make sure I know of any email changes.I have gathered quite a collection of lost and found items. If you are missing something and want it back, please let me know what you are missing and how to get it back to you. Otherwise, it will help keep somebody warm this Winter. Finally, and while words are not enough, I want to try again to articulate to you just how appreciative I am of the tremendous support this race receives from the community. In particular, the Nashville Striders and Diana Bibeau, Nick Ged, Loren Bardwell, Shawna Peace, Patrick Carrol (apologies if I did not call you out specifically, I am still exhausted) and all the great volunteers who really make this thing happen. Awesome folks, those volunteers. Additional course support was provided by ACME Multisports, Athlete's House, Fleet Feet, the Gordon JCC and Team Nashville. And Yazoo Brewery provided the fluids you enjoyed postrace. Please take a moment and go support these folks when you are in Nashville. And for all these gracious folks, I am Thankful on this eve of Thanksgiving.Anyhow, I am glad you could join us. Please, recover well. Eat loads this weekend. Get your rest and possibly go run a turkey race. But most importantly, run on hills.Take care and perhaps we'll see you next year.TrentCheck out our supporters -Nashville Striders - http://www.nashvillestriders.com ACME Multisports - http://www.acmemultisports.com Athlete's House - http://www.athleteshouse.com Fleet Feet Nashville - http://www.fleetfeetnashville.com Team Nashville - http://www.teamnashvillesports.com GJCC - http://www.nashvillejcc.org John Minton Massage - http://www.johnmintonmassage.blogspot.com Practical Massage Therapy - http://www.practicalmassage.com/ Yazoo Brewery - http://www.yazoobrew.com Elly Foster Photography - http://www.ellyfosterphotography.com/ Hatch Show Prints - http://countrymusichalloffame.org/our-work/ Matthew Allison Design - http://matthewallison.com/
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
snifffffffffff I'm off the mailing list.
There is one way to remedy that.
This year (for 2010) some of us didn't get the early entry mail. Bhearn and me, at least, perhaps others.
Could have been a mail merge gone awry... coulda been that I made Santa's naughty list.
Not sure.
No way Bhearn could make Santa's naughty list though.
Coiuld have been a spam filter. You are both on the early email list.
Anyhow. Something tells me that FOTs tend to get in.

fat ol' turds!
I made the pie with the gingerbread and the orange peel and the chili powder. Is that sucking up enough?
I'll show up for packet stuffing!
How was the pie?
And Ennay, you certainly fulfill criteria for FOT. I am happy to repost the picture if need be.

Oh...great... blackmail.
The pie was excellent, but all my cowardly friends were afraid to try the crust except one. "It looks weird" Fools ate Libby's canned pumpkin pie in pillsbury pie crust while those of us in the know ate the good stuff. Which means of course that I have a lot of pie leftover. Breakfast!
Looks weird. Heh.
I had a nice slice of my version this morning, then ran 10 miles. Nice.
heh. Last night dd (aka the pickiest eater on the planet) got a piece of the generic pie at dinner. I'm not sure why, except I was thinking I might have over done the chili powder. She didnt like it. Today she had a HUGE piece of the real stuff. She is a fan of the gingerbread crust.
