What's up Jackie?! I just happened to be looking over some old threads...how'd the race go?
Congrats on the finish, lets hear some details.

Congratulations on the race, Jackie--great job in getting out there!
Anyone else have anything on the horizon? I'm planning to run a two-mile Turkey Trot for the third year in a row, and hopefully then train some for next year.
I probably should work on getting some better nasty-weather running gear. My cotton sweatshirts and semi-waterproof jackets are great for really cold days, but not for when it's mixed snow and rain like today.
It was just too easy to stay in and surf the web for future races during today's lunchbreak, when I should have gone out for a run or at least driven to the pool to get in a swim!
You are a runner

Man, I've got nothing planned. I found one Turkey Trot that's in a city near Portland, but it's only a four miler and I'm unemployed right now and don't want to spend money on racing. I did see a New Years Day run that I may sign up for if i get the job i'm interviewing for in a couple weeks.
Meanwhile, i'm feeling really out of shape. I think i'm running really slow lately from some reason, and think it's because i don't really know the courses/mile marks around here yet.
So i guess for now, i'm just trying to get the miles in.
