Just checked in on the weather for New Years Day, as I signed up for a race that day. Anything that starts "Arctic air hits!" (their exclamation) kind of scares me.
"high 16/low -2 Arctic air hits! Frigid with biting NW winds. Passing snow showers with heavier lake-effect snows in NW Indiana and SW Michigan."
I'll let you know how it goes,
