Running Boston for Children's Hospital
Hello Portland!
Nice job Katie! Boston Qualified and got first place! Great run Smile
Ah, there's nothing more exciting than science. You get all the fun of sitting still, being quiet, writing down numbers, paying attention...Science has it all. -Skinner
Chicago winter running
ha ha- thanks guys Smile Yay- it was so awesome to win- ha ha ha Smile

I'm still surprised that I was moving along decently but I felt like in the last few miles- felt really rhythmic and I wsa generally pretty cheerful the whole way back - both things helped a lot. Usually in races, I get all bitter at the end like someone is trying to force me to do this but I didn't have any of that here, which was good for me. I'm really sore today though! Hopefully things will go well in FL!

Chris- love the line below your avatar- ha ha!

PS.

Bob- great job on your 16-er! Especially if you're sick- sounds like a tough sickness for running (since we learned in class that 50% of the resistance to breathing comes from all the tubes air has to navigate to get to your lungs. So if those are umm.. gunky (that's a medical term)... then it makes the resistance that much greater. Good for you! Hope you feel better soon.
