MIA? (Read 21 times)

Anyone know how Bob's doing? It looks like he hasn't been posting or logging miles lately.

Hope all's OK!

Hi Carl!

Smile

Thanks for the shout out! There has been nothing to log because I've been hurt yet again. Roll eyes I did do Boston last weekend, as a walker. What a great experience that was! I posted a report in the master's forum, but I'll put a copy here, just in case you have some spare time and want to take a peek.

I see you are still swimming a bit, running a bit. Are you staying healthy? What's next on the agenda?

The plan is to give Steamtown a shot again in October. I hope we can hook up!

Thanks again for checking up. I really appreciate it!

Glad to see you're still with us! Hopefully you're healing up quickly and will be back up to speed soon. Those Boston pictures are spectacular and make me want to get there even more.

My training has taken a brief detour; I had back spasms and then got sick a couple weeks ago, and was especially sore at the end of my digestive tract. By the time my tests got done and evaluated earlier this week, I was on the upswing. I'm now back at about 95% and have been deemed pretty healthy by the medical folks.

I'm raring to go, now, that's for sure! Although I won't be ready for the Pocono Marathon on 5/4, I'm thinking that the inaugural River Towns marathon, on May 31, is looking good.

Steamtown is two weeks after my main goal race for this year, the Delaware 100. However, I'd like to run that marathon because it's in my backyard (my children go to starting line school, even), but if I'm still recovering I'll volunteer and see you there anyway!
