Here is a message from Mr. Craze, team manager for Macomb X-Men
Dear family and friends,
I will be participating in a 5K run in Appleton, WI on May 10th, to raise money for the American Cancer Society. I will be running (using the term loosely) in memory of Kathy (Sheele) Ammerman, a close friend of mine who passed away in May 2006 after battling cancer over the last two years of her life.
I hope to raise $1,000 in donations. I know times are tough, but anything you could give would be appreciated. Also, putting my money where my mouth is, I will match donations at 10% (up to a maximum of $200 total - I'm not rich, after all!), so a $20 donation is like $22. Let's see how much money you all can cost me! The Macomb X-Men, a high school AAU team I'm affiliated with, would probably pay lots just to see me attempt to run!
