It turns out I am going to do Geist--I have a trip planned the week after that and was able to push my departure date back a little. CR--just looked at your Sam Costa time...wow, that's a big leap!
Any updates or PRs? I'm doing the 15k at Town Run tomorrow mostly as a training run. I think I'm about to register for the Tecumseh Trail Marathon, which probably will be the end of my life.
CarmelRunner--looking at your log, how are lhr and easy different? You've been putting in some no bs miles for a while now!
Have fun. I hear its a good run.
PR's have been mostly 5ks this summer. I'm also debating about Tecumseh. Heard great things about it.
LHR is keeping my average heart rate below 137. Usually though it means 130 or less. Easy is between 143 and 150. I subscribe to the Low Heart rate training advocate by Maffetone but I need some increase in HR from time to time so I keep it below 150 for those.
The miles have been piling up and finally I'm dropping some weight. Trying to make all of this come together to BQ at Monumental. You running that one? How's your training going? I don't see any miles in your log so I guess your keeping them offline.
You running Lawrence? I'm on the fence between the half and full but only because I have Notre Dame-USC tickets.
