        I'm doing the Get in Gear 5k on April 26th at Minnehaha park in Minneapolis. My daughters are both doing the 2k and me, my sister and my parents are doing the 5k. My sister and I are running it and my parents are walking it. It's a pretty race!!

          good luck everyone! I am doing the Fitgers 5k on April 19th http://www.grandmasmarathon.com/pdf/fitgers_5k_map.pdf It has a hill that I have to do twice and I am nervous because I am not so good at hills, I run the state trail most of the summer and this winter I was stupid and didn't add an incline to the treadmill. So now I try and get at least 1 or 2 hill workouts each week. Hopefully my time will be better on this one. Oh and my sister and her dh are going to run it with me. My sister said she is going to walk it but her dh wants to run it with me. Smile

            Signed up for this one today http://www.urbanwildland.com/urban.htm, in Richfield on Aug. 2. I'm running the HM and DW is signed up for the 5k.

              Have you run this one before? An nice race in Aug with the shade of the boulevards...

                                Who's looking forward to running the Get in Gear race tomorrow??? Dang...I thought it was gonna be nice like last year. No dice...I have family all running/walking it with me and I was hoping for some decent weather. Oh well...it'll make for a funny picture right??
