I thoroughly enjoyed this article on the Barkley Ultra. I'm sure some of you are already aware of this race. This is a great look at it:

Thanks, Jimmy, that was a good read.  Broke up the monopoly Douillard and Maffetone had on my reading here in Florida.  Spoke with David Horton a couple of times.  Fascinating guy.  Still, the article and its perspectiive on the race reminds me of that slogan from the late '80s "Why ask why?"
