Hey Kazzy,

Welcome to the forum. Nice to have someone from the U.K. posting. Too bad accents don't make it into posts, yours would probably sound so much nicer than mine, with my Rhode Island accent. 19º I see, that must be ºc

Your MAF test seems fine. My only suggestion would be to average 139-140 for each mile. Keep a small zone of 138-141, making sure it doesn't hang too long on 138 or 141. That might be difficult if you are using a hilly course.

The most important thing is to keep the tests as similar as possible, same course and conditions ( I prefer TM's for my tests ).Keep track of temperature, humidity, wind, sun or overcast or rainy for each test.

I wish you the best in the next 12 weeks. Hope you make some progress.

Hi Kazzy,

It looks like you know what to do
I usually try to keep the HR as close as possible to the MAF at all times during the test - just like Jimmy said. Other than that you did great.

Is there a particular reason that you have tried LHR training in the past and want to try it again?
