            WTG Ron and jimmy!

9.7 today to finish my second 30 mi. week. Feels good to have that in the book. My resting HR is being a little persistently high. After run days hanging above 56, after rest days dropping to 48ish. Does this mean I need to consolidate here at 30 mpw before increasing, or do I need to back off more?

anyway, have A good weekend all!

John -6 miles appears to be your distance.

Do more 4/8/6/4/8  more recovery time. Less time on feet = less stress. This weeks numbers  look good 6/5/6/4/9 since there was an off day between the 5 and  6 milers. I like to drop 2 miles on back to back days.

Yesterday after my daughter's SC meet, ran some trails.  8.07 miles @ 10:53 pace.  AHR 143 MHR 153.  I know, not a good job.  We won't have many nice weather days like yesterday and I just wanted to run by feel.

Man, I so know what your talking about Bill. Winter is really late here, and Ive been running like nuclear winter is coming. So nice to not have to be completely bundled yet.

Clay, I think I hear what your saying. I guess I need to try to run bigger miles first on consecutive days. I've been getting too comfy at 6 anyway.

that said, 8 today. HR gets outa hand on long downhills, cause it's just fun to go faster!, but managed to close out 8 in under 11:00 and mostly stay under MAF.

                  have. Good week, all!

That's not abnormal to have a higher RHR the day after a hard day, and then have it return on the day after the easy day. If it's continuously elevated every day over a few weeks, then you might consider backing off a hair, or just taking extra rest.

Hi!  Did NYCM at 148HR (MAF) and faster than MCM the prior week, so very happy.  Still, slow but the pain has not gone away so it is all I could muster.

We'll see.  I'm in a bit of pain but the test today shows what it is.  It won't get worse or better if I run and it is unrelated to running, so I will run.
