          Congrats, Ron!

I had a tough cutback week, half of which spent with asthma.  Still, out of 49 miles I did 39ish and did my only quality workout for the week and on pace, so I am happy.

            Wow - congratulation.

50 miles is a great accomplishment.  I look forward to hearing some details.  Hope you had fun.

One question - How did things go with nutrition?  I'm guessing the Maffetone training helped with fat burning and fuel?

Sorry I have been MIA but work has had me barely looking into all the forums I added.  Sigh.

My training has gone well.  I did my first (and only) 18 miler for Chicago and that went great with the HR and all.  Did a HM in Boston this weekend which was done with 2 easy, 8 @ MP and 3 fast and it went great.

This is my peak week 1 and I did 12 miles today with 8 @ 155HR (MP effort).  It went even better than Sunday's one.

And that's my life in the last three weeks, in a nutshell.
