glad you like the bars. They really are the original recipe before the commercial Phil's Bars came out in 2000(?). I probably first developed this recipe in the mid 80s.
If you want them really fine, just blend them more. When I make them fine I keep the Cuisinart on for less than a minute or so. But the trick is to put the almonds in separately without any other ingredients, and they'll get very fine.
If they're too sticky, use a bit less water and/or more of any dry ingredient.
They've been on the Recipes! section of the website for awhile, along with other equally easy, delicious and healthy items. Great that it's posted here.
