found some "Aloe Vera Gel" at Walmart and am going to give that a try. Had a real connectivity problem this morning.

Good luck with the Aloe Vara gel. I tried that after the liquid soap and that did work either. Maybe I used to much of both products when I tried them? Running the HR monitors electrodes under the faucet (completely drenching them) works best for me.

Thanks. mmm I never tried running the electrodes under the faucet, I generally moisten with a sponge - I try to avoid waking my wife since I generally run in the morning between 4-5am.

Well one day doesn't make a trend, but I used the Aloe Vera Gel this morning and never had a problem with hr readings. Will continue to use it to see if anything comes up. Ouch - just realized the bottle is to large for me to take it to Altanta for the Thanksgiving day half. I may just have to run the dang thing under water that morning. It should be seated good by race time anyway since we'll be taking Marta into the start.

Well I've been using the Aloe Vera gel on the garmin 301 hrm band since mid Nov and it has almost eliminated any glitches. Have only had two glitches since starting with it.

You have conninced me to give the Aloe Vera gel another try. I've used it two days in a row and so far it seems to be working. I slathered it on rather thick now where as my other attempts I used a small amount. I think the thicker application was the ticket.
