Sorry this is not an announcement that the book is coming out this month as planned. After long discussions with publishers (I won't go into that painful process), a new publisher has emerged willing to create the book I really wanted. It will combine both Training and Eating for Endurance, all newly written and greatly expanded, along with a lot more information on heart rate monitoring, shoes, and other topics -- some 50 chapters. Below I posted the announcement that I'll have on my website.

I wanted to comment on this here as the folks on this forum have been so supportive -- many thanks.

Training for Endurance and Eating for Endurance – both long out of print – are currently being revised, updated and combined into a single book that will now become the Big Book of Endurance. And, much more information will be added. Publication will be this spring. In the meantime, I will continue to upgrade the Sports Pages on my website to bring you more informative articles as well as answer your questions in the Forum. I thank you for your patience and support. -- Dr. Phil Maffetone
