Hey Jimmy - now I'm craving a moonpie too. The original and not one of those goofy banana one's. mmmmmmm

Day 6 - I did feel a little less energetic on my run yesterday but I ran after eating so this could be the cause since I usually don't do this.

    On to week two.

I haven't had a moon pie in years either, but if you must . . . heat it in a microwave. The bread gets soft and the marshmellow center gets soft and goooey. Try about 10 to 15 seconds. It's an entirely different experience.

They remind me of something we had in Ireland when I was a kid, but can't remember what they were called.Luckily I don't have too sweet a tooth now!  Stella,  perhaps they're the southern US version of timtams Smile

wagon wheels well simil;ar hmm wonder if i can get some in oz just to try. I like wagon wheels but they neeed more marshmallow.

wagon wheels! that's what I was trying to remember!! But I don't think any of these would be recommended eating as part of the two week test (or any diet really!)

no i think my doc would have a few things to say about it lol good for an after long run treat but
I'd be happy to mail a box but who knows what would happen to them on the journey accross the oceans. And they are not part of a well balanced diet unless you are a 10 year old. Heh

Speaking of treats...we made some of Dr. Phi's Coconut Snowballs  from his recipe page yesterday. These things are so easy to make and so, so  good!  Only thing is, it's hard just to have one...or two.

sounds yum but im not allowed anything with a fat content of over 1% and i think coconut does what is the link for his recipes.

Im annoyed i did have his book but it has been destroyed  will get it again when i have some money

Aww thanks c-r but i'llpass i better be good  for a while at least Wink
