    Yesterday, I got in a great trail run on the ice.

     

    Today...it was still a great run, but much tougher.  Amazing what 12 hours of above-freezing temps combined with heavy rain can do to perfectly groomed and runnable snowmobile trails...

     

    I was a bit wet afterwards.

     

    Anybody else get out and enjoy the mid autumn weather today?

      There's some kind of odd pattern happening, my log from last year for this day (Sunday after Christmas) has a note of "freaky warm" and shows the temp as 53.

       

      I'm going for 2 miles on the treadmill at the Y, plan on a blazing 18 min/mile pace.  Look out, I'm coming through! Alas, no mud or other non-sterile challenge.

       

      And, Blaine -- thank you for the card, that was very thoughtful of you.

        Yep, I was out there too.

         

        Now , nice and dry, I am ready to watch the Pats' game.
