Ok... the most exciting thing to me here is seeing ARF on the list! Really?? Woohoo! That's awesome!! Big grin

Aamos, is your DH really planning on the full? (going from Tet's schedule here)

We know who is staying at "the house," but we need to know who might be coming by for dinner/snacks/drinks/whatever. Will prolly need to ask for some donations for food and stuff...

Tet - Big grin

Erika - can you post the list again of who is staying at the party house?

Is there a hot tub there?

Arf is on and off, I'm doing what I can to keep it on, but DS graduation might get in the way.

I'm the only sissy doing the Half? Oh well, more partying!!
I can donate my shuttle bug to drive some exhausted marathoners around.

Shall we have a commemorative shirt? ......who's the artist in the group ....?

Besides cooking starting Fri, I can host at my house either post race/pre concert ....., Sunday brunch......whatever!

Holly, there's a jacuzzi in the master bath for anyone who wants to use it.
Here's the link to the house so you can check out the amenities.

Enke - Runrwife (Sue) will also be running the half.

We have a room at the Silver Cloud Hotel Stadium across the street from Qwest Field for Friday and Saturday nights. We are up for some partying both nights, although its probably wise to limit the Friday night festivities until Saturday after the run. Big grin

Erika- we would love to come by for whatever. We only live across Puget Sound so can bring pretty much anything. Let us know what is happening. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

What nights do we have the house? Thur/Fri/Sat?

The plan is for Laura and I to drive up Friday, but with an 8 hr drive that wouldn't get us into Seattle until probably late afternoon . . . so now I'm wondering if leaving Thur afternoon and arriving that night would be better?
but our plan is to stay in Seattle until Sunday and probably leave in the a.m. to drive back.

I'm usually too nervous the night before a race to eat or party much, but Thursday meeting at the EXPO and/or dining that evening....
And of course race day, anything goes! Big grin hot tubs, belly dancing, etc....

I'll be arriving in Seattle at 11:15 am on Friday after about 8 hours travel time. I plan to nap on the plane, so I can hopefully stay awake past 6pm. Roll eyes I already told Erika to stuff me into some quiet corner if I fall asleeep too soon.

My flight out Sunday isn't until noon, so I have no excuse not to stay up late on Saturday night. Might have to take an afternoon nap, though.

I love naps.

And coffee. Nap + coffee + happy Holly...... Smile

Is it really 8 hours to fly there Holly? Heck, I've not even booked a flight yet...but need to work on that.

Speaking of which, I have not flown anywhere for over 25 years and my wife at the time took care of everyhting...she was a travel agent. What's the best way to get a good price - what airline - and misc stuff I don't have a clue about. Anyone with a lot of travel experience want to help me out...perrrty please Smile

And beer. Nap +beer + happy TimBo Smile
