New skirt in town

    It's ON!

    https://www.facebook.com/events/546253152157666/

April 20, 2-4:00 PM at The Lir  (930 Boylston Street, right across from the Expo!)

I know, I know...it's on Easter Sunday. But please come!  And please forward this to any friends who might enjoy a quick nosh and a 26.2 Brew!  Donations to the Melanoma Foundation of New England are welcome but NOT necessary!  The main reason is just to begin celebrating the return of this great race to the city of Boston.

(Donations may be made here: http://www.crowdrise.com/mfneboston2014/fundraiser/robintravers)

Please come! Bring friends! Everyone welcome!

Well, it's about time!  This is exciting!  And I'm not even running it.

Thank you Robin.  I'll have some friends in town for the Big Event; I'll see how many I can drag to the party.

I am setting up a hugging station at your party, Robin, and I have invited a handful from the 2000 mile group.

Good luck everyone. Hope it's an uneventful and a humdrum everyday Boston Marathon that we all love and enjoy.

Yay!  A hugging station sounds like EXACTLY what this par-tay was lacking!!

I'll sure miss all of you this year. I hope you have a great time.

We will be in San Antonio Easter weekend so that Hudson can visit a school down there on Monday.  Spareribs

Hey Robin, just a heads-up. Someone posted a beautiful photo of Liza Minnelli and Kevin Spacey on your FB wall, all decked out in evening gown and tux.   Spareribs

Hey--can you guys list your numbers so we can follow you?  Should that be a different thread?

I plan to be at the party and look forward to meeting some of the amazing people around here! Thanks for the invite, Robin.

Mike E -- my number is 7912. One of these days, I'd really like to run with you, or at least run in the same event! There have to be some local Minnesota races this summer where I could try to keep up.
