October Masters Miles Awards (Read 368 times)

73.1 for me, which is 12 more than last month...baby steps!

Also, I started back on the TN running tour and completed a 5 mile race last weekend and a 10k yesterday (which doesn't count towards Oct. miles, but it was my first since May..

    Thanks Carolyn!

      Thanks, Carolyn!

176.1 miles for me in October

      1893.70 ytd

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

         11 x 17

No records or races this month for me.  Just getting out when I can to keep my sanity.

        OCT: 37.5

        YTD: 346.5

        Starr's answer of 11 x 17 is correct!

        Carolyn

I had 197.7 miles for October.  Didn't feel the need to run the extra 2.3 to make it an even 200, although I did think about it...

No races, just some good steady running in some gorgeous fall weather, with a few days of winter weather thrown in to make it interesting.  A highlight of the month was doing a trail run with Skip in Ithaca NY, when I went to visit my DD.

I'll get around to tallying the results soon!

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
