50/50 Cross-Training Thread for Week Ending 11/9 (Read 10 times)

    If you're at least 50 and are planning at least 50 miles of cross-training, hop on in.  I'm on an 11-day streak of cycling with 72 miles last week.

     

    Monday..........short hilly ride..............................done-8.64 miles

    Tuesday.........an hour hilly ride..........................done-9.1 miles

    Wednesday....2 hour ride on the flatter path......1 hr. 40 min.=15.5 miles

    Thursday.........rest (work extra hours)................done

    Friday.............1.5 hour ride..............done & then some-1 hr. 46 min.=17.7 miles

    Saturday.........Long ride on the flatter path........walk in the desert too; 2 hr. 37 min.=26.3 miles

    Sunday...........short hilly ride.................................walk in the desert

     

    Total...............Goal is 10 hours which would be close to 100 miles..........................Bike 77.4 mi.; Walk 4.1 mi.;

    ($40 pawn shop bike is heavy-28 pounds and a 2-pound U lock so I'm slow)........basically got my 10 hrs.
