Barely made the 40 miles so I don't need a pass. I think I have this quad thing under control, which is a big plus. I'm finally starting to make some good progress on my fitness. Now I just need to make some good progress on my weight... :-/

          I'll need a pass this week, Holly...please...

Wow, IBUB--that is incredible that you even finished...hope you recover quickly and that you hear positive results from you tests.

            Thank you, Holly!

Nice races in Buffalo, MikeE and IBUB. Amazing that you finished at all, IBUB! Mike: I watched the streaming video of the finish. The video stream switches from the Full to the Half finish chute just as you approach, so I'm not sure I saw you. Were you the shirtless guy flying across the finish with what appear to be Photoshopped abs? Nice finish!

            Final taper, then race:

Well...I would have said, "the little guy in the red, with no shirt, trying desperately to get to the finish line before the clock switched to the :04".  But I like your description better, so I'll say, "yeah...that was me."  Thanks SubDood.  Good luck next week!
