Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

72 for my second biggest week since 2009, when I messed up my knee. Topped only by a 73, exactly a year ago.
High stress week, with big news pending. Got in a couple doubles, and some tempo work on Thursday. Did 18 hours of house painting over the weekend, and managed to squeeze in a 19 miler on Sunday.
Equinox Marathon next month is still on the slate but I don't feel wonderfully prepared. Adequate will have to do.
