Cancelled flight. No running for too long. Bleh.

Need a fast half for late fall.  Then I need to actually train for it.

Enke, I think it was you who asked a few weeks ago about the Garmin download getting slower and slower.  Search your hard drive for files with names ending in .TCX  and backup/delete the older ones (i.e 2013 and earlier).  Every time you download a new workout it creates another, new .TCX file on your hard drive.  And then, everytime you go to upload your workout to RA's log, or any of the other online logs, it looks through all the .TCX files to determine if any are new.  This, of course, takes longer and longer the more .TCX files you have.

                  Off to DD's basketball game.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Waited for the 'warmth'- 5 miles in shorts in low 40's- best run in months-much encouragement from training hordes.

Not PW, but close.  Still fun.

1st time poster here.  Today was my first run as an official Masters runner, so I figure it is ok for me to post now.  I'm a former competitive runner who is now just trying to stay fit for health reasons.  I would love to compete again, but the body has been a little opposed to it the past 5 years or so.  I ran a medium-ish paced 9 miler today.  Have a great day.
