private message to tim - well, I see you must have put down something like 3;30 to get up in corral 4 but, even if you fizzle to eight or nine hours, I`m still stickin` to my vow not to let anyone, not even you, have to come all the way out here and end up with last place.

However, in case you make it to the scary climb around your favorite mile 16 from the the Seattle Center to the peak of start of the Aurora Bridge before I do, keep track of your up-and-back times, as I`m gunna be saving  everything for the same and do plan to beat you on that section.

we`re glad you`re able to come.

may we introduce you to any body shops?

Hey, I take two prescriptions and I don't want to take the whole bottles with me.

Tim - given all the beautiful women you will be surrounded by, you can probably leave the Viagra at home.

I am so glad to hear that you have decided to come out to Seattle.  I really can't wait to meet everyone.  I haven't been running - AT ALL - damn labyrinthitis is still with me, and on top of that I had some other personal problems to deal with the past two weeks.

I would like to show up for the party Saturday night.  I can bring some food.

I think the "picking up your bib number in person only with ID" rule completely sucks.  That is going to cause so much trouble for so many people.

Lastly, I lost my Eugene Marathon shirt.   I loved that shirt!  It was my only marathon!  Only solution is to run Eugene again sometime in the future!

"During a marathon, I run about two-thirds of the time. That's plenty." - Margaret Davis, 85 Ed Whitlock regarding his 2:54:48 marathon at age 73, "That was a good day. It was never a struggle."

Hi Enkie! Glad to see you and glad you'll make it to the festivities, if not the race.
i so wish i was going.............

what's the weather forecast for Seattle next Saturday?

Tammy, its still to far out for the weatherman to even guess at it.  They can't even get it right after seeing it rain.  Anyway its now been 26 straight days of no rain here in Seattle.  The record is 29 days.  Now, just think about it.  What kind of weather do you think we will have on race day????

Oh, and thanks for the link.  I did get in.  Actually, I did get the first two e-mails but my e-mail filter sent them into the junk folder.  Must have thought they were some sort of enhancement advertisement.  LOL

you mean 12 days is too far in advance?? oh, right . . . I remember now. . . seattle meterologists have a hard time getting it right only a few hours in advance  . . .

I have noticed though that is has cooled down considerably from those unSeattle like 90+ temps. This is NOT the year for late June record setting temps.

do you think I should start packing yet? maybe I outta get this eye twitch under control first

                  Tammy

Nah, you're cute when you're twitchy.

I'm prepared for rain. I'm prepared for hot. Frankly, I don't give a damn about the weather on this one, I just need to make it past the half since CNYrunner isn't gonna be there to drive me home if I get into trouble!

right now, Seattle weather is looking pretty ideal. I can pull up an extended forecast through next Friday and it's looking like partly cloudy, 2 mph winds, upper 50's to start and low 60's by about 11 a.m.  That's about what everyday is looking like, so Saturday will likely be about the same.

and when it Tet getting back from Japan??

                      Tammy

There`s been about a dozen changes in return so far (and six marathon) in this supposed one week trip that started in May 6.  I:ll find out on Tuesday if we`re going to get to keep the current 6/25 departyure.

I hope tim can make it too; . . . otherwise, he might have 6:52:01 for his first mary.

I'll be back in Seattle from about July 16-22. wonder if there are short races going on then?

                          Weather forecast:

Busy weekend for me and another two busy days ahead. Not much time to catch up with anything here, but DH and i will be at the house on Thursday night hurrayyyy.

WTW, Mr Posie is willing to man a "boomer's water stop" for us. We can plan this on Friday.
