Can I start packing yet?

The only thing I've packed so far is the wine I bought yesterday. Needed to make sure I didn't forget that!
I'll start getting a few things organized tonight, but I have tomorrow off work, so that's my day to get all packed, get my car ready, coolers out. I have my list going now of things to pick up on my lunch break today. oh, getting my hair cut today also. All those long blond locks are weighing me down, so getting them chopped.
Tammy
What's everyone wearing? Casual is okay, right, sandals and shorts? Is it warm enough in Seattle for shorts? I'll bring a sweater for the evenings.
Tammy - I just got my hair cut, too. Something about a big race makes me want to tidy the mop a bit.
A haircut? Do I have time? Oh nooooo
Shorts? Won't it be cold and rainy? I am bringing sweaters and rain gear....and my birthday suit for the hot tub.
No offense.

It was 45 when I got up this morning.
Expect race weekend mornings to be 50ish, give or take. The breeze may make it chilly. Afternoons will be 70ish (right now, race day high is supposed to be 68, but that will change 5 more times).
Whether that's 'shorts' weather depends on what you've been experiencing at home recently.
In Seattle, people will wear shorts if it is sunny. Even if it is sunny and 40.
Ultima tastes like failure.
Tammy - thanks for the reminder about the thriftstore throwaway sweatshirt. I'll get one tonight. As for the packing, I will only be bringing a small carry-on duffel bag, so I'll probably just check the Seattle weather the night before I leave and pack accordingly. At the moment it's looking like jeans instead of shorts, but ideal running weather for the race.
What are yoga pants? Wait, I'll Google it...
Jeans, shorts, t-shirts, my sweatshirt, sandals and running stuff. That's about it. Might bring rain gear, whenever I do it doesn't rain. If I forget it, it pours.
You ladies want to remember to bring sleepwear appropriate for mixed company... I'll leave that up to you to decide what that is.
I'll pack Wednesday night.
Tammy, good call on packing the wine first! Would be too funny if you remembered the wine and forgot your Garmin. That's something I'd do...
yoga pants - just a different way of saying 'sweats' I suppose. Sweats sound so. . . so. . . frumpy.
oh, garmin! can't forget the garmin. . . and charging stuff. . .
never thought about sleeping attire. I think I'll just go for the tshirt/'sweats' look.
Yogi didn't wear pants. Just a hat, collar, and a tie.
I do not recommend this attire, though a bunch of people naked in a hot tub is creeping me out.
Erika - the sleepwear issue is what I thought about first. Luckily I have a t-shirt dress/nightgown that's fairly appropriate for mixed company. Although I don't plan to be sleeping with anyone there. Except for Tammy and Laura, of course....
Stevie Ray - I'll wear a hat and a tie in the hot tub, just so as not to freak you out...
Appropriate sleepwear!!
I can see that Ilene will be setting the fashion standard quite high. You southern californians are such fashionista's! I'm just a country bumpkin.
I don't really think there is a hottub. I don't recall reading about one in the house description at least. Just the lake to jump in.
I don't have hottub attire anyways, nor lake jumping attire.
Yeah, I thought there was a hot tub but apparently no, just a jacuzzi in the master BR.
Geez, Ilene... think the footies might be a bit over the top.
