Hope you all have a great time here in Seattle. I'm a newbie to the group but belonged once upon a time when it was hosted on Cool Running. I won't be doing RnR but may see you at the Expo. If any of you are doing Marine Corps in October, perhaps we can meet then. Anyway--welcome to Seattle!
Welcome back, Paul. What name did you go by at Coolrunning?

Resting? get a hug!!!

No offense.
Holly, I always wear it. But this time around I'm also taking an alternate or something additional for inclement weather. This is going to be a big MM race so you'll see lots of yellow singlets. Definitely wear yours!
Inclement?
Even if it rains, which is currently unlikely, it'll just be sprinkly and warmish (by most people's standards). Don't poach yourself.
The chances of a deluge are teensy tiny.
Ultima tastes like failure.

High in the mid seventies......way too warm for me!!!!
I don't think anybody should worry about underdressing!!!!

I am still debating which size wings I should wear......
Wear the really big ones, so you can carry me when I get tired....
After my quite warm 6 mile run this a.m., when it was already 70ish at 9:30, I think that Seattle weather is going to feel perfecto to me!
packing is mostly done, still working on some laundry, and next I'll start making some cookies to bring up.

Running has given me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike spirit to have fun along the way - Run often and run long, but never outrun your Joy of running!
yay Tim!! Since you'll likely be running about my pace then to keep your HR low, maybe we can keep each other company. I'll be running with Aamos also. Plus my friend Laura will likely start out with me, but as she is naturally a faster runner than me, she'll probably run her own race after about 3 or 4miles.
You are getting in at a good time, as that's real close to when Aamos and her DH and Erika and her DH arrive. You are all within about an hour of each other. I'm sure Erika will chime in or message you with her flight info and where to meet up with them.
I think you probably have my cell number already? Although I'm not even leaving home until around noon and won't get to Seattle til about 9 p.m. or later.
