Pre race dinner was great, yes we took some pictures, clean up is done, timing tags are in place and most have gone to bed. We'll fill in details tomorrow afternoon!

Not at all evalina but actually you guys will actually be starting 16 hours after the 7am Saturday start I had over here for the first marathon on RnR Day, to say nothing of finishing ten or eleven hours, if not more, ahead of tim even though, with a lot of help with temperatures getting into the nineties, it was possible to end up with a 7:37:19 finish as planned to be the slowest finisher of the day so none of our guests will have that ignominy but which for me is another happy DGL.
I'm not fast enough but I have a feeling that robert or one of the super-maniacs might catch the afternoon flight to Seattle sometime for a 6-7am arrival and do the same kind of two marathons at exactly the same time as my January Tokyo/Seattle 5K's.
Tim - I hope your RnR RR is the same as mine for today, - “hot” - “hot” - “hot” - , . . . but for different reasons.
Incidentally, be sure to let dave adjust your gramins and HRM’s for west coast times so you can keep on your target pace of 132bpm or whatever it turned out to be.
private message to dave - <<<(yes, yes, set it at 98 or 98 and he'll be on an eight or nine hour pace
and you can have all the goddeses to yourself)>>>.
never trained / never will

Tet - have fun ruuning your marathon today. Although, I know you are finished by now. RunrWife and I are getting ready to head out for the bus to the start. I will be heading back to Japan on July 6th (Yokosuka). Will you still be there?
We missed you last night at the pre-race get together and will you today both at the race and the post-race party. Just to let you know all the goddesses were simply beautiful and bubbly last evening.
Marathon Maniac #530 Mike (My Indian name is "Runs for Beer")
thanks mike. I'm missing everyone too and look forward to as many photos and details as possible,
I will still be here now through the middle of July. It's the Fourth of July weekend right before you come but if you can make it a day earlier, I'm getting inducted into the Japan 100-Marathon Joyful Running Club on 7/5 (after 20 laps around Hiratsuka Park just a little ways from Yokosuka on the Shinkansen). Otherwise maybe the Tokaido Line for a morning or evening run around the Palace.

Be sure to have sue post her first impression of the monster RnR extravaganza. I miss you guys.
Thank you perch - please add more as my tokyo hotel computer is slower than me
however, i looks like my DGL is very, very safe by almost three hours
where’s tim?

Next? Could there be 26.2 somewhere???
I can dream, can't I?
No offense.
Stevie Ray ran today wearing one white glove in honor of, well, you know...
At 60 and medium humidity, I got really hot... but the glove stayed on. Considered moonwalking the finish, but didn't.
Tried desperately 4x to get evanflein's attention, but no way jose.
Saw frankie once.
Ultima tastes like failure.

?? I yelled at you as you were heading back down the bridge (21 mile?) as I was going up the other side... Sorry we missed and we missed you at the house! (nice glove...)
