Seattle R&R...let the planning, dreaming and party begin!!!! (Read 1259 times)

    I haven't owned a swimsuit for over 10 yrs . . . but I'm guessing that's not a huge issue

Can we all get emailed the address to the party house so we can can come there to whoop it up at some point?

Maybe we should all change to the same corral at the expo so we can carpool and meet up at the start?  Big grin

Will we be attending the race concert on Saturday night, or partying hearty at the party central house?

Shall we all bring fairy wings to wear during the race?  Smile

Do we start our taper madness yet?

Do we start our taper madness yet?

         I think I've started - prematurely

Is there such thing as peak week madness?

        Tammy

I pulled up a satellite view of the house and gosh, as the crow flies, we are real close to the start - 2 miles maybe?

I think a pre and post meetup at Rasmussen's hotel is a good idea. We'll have a place to stash stuff, etc.

          Tammy

Yeah, DH was saying we could walk our warm up to the start! And the Silver Cloud hotel where Mike is staying is where DH and I stayed a couple years ago... pictures from the rooftop hot tub with Tet! What a night...

                  Hey Tammy check your e-mail...

Tammy, don't respond to Erika as your check bounced. (just act like nothing happened)...that's what I did and it worked. Hey, I take two prescriptions and I don't want to take the whole bottles with me. Can a person use one of those containers that says...Mon - Tues - Weds, and so on. Or do you have to have the bottle with your name and such on it...this is a very good question as I wonder...talking about the Airlines and flying to Seattle. Holly, packing already, sheesh...but go girl on your 50K (but be careful out there, would ya) I don't own a swimsuit either...is that a problem, hehe. Tet scares me.... Do I need to rent a car, or will someone help to pick me up at the airport, and get me around? TimmyBo PS: Tet scares me. I invision being in the hot tub with everyone and then Tet say'n something like "Tim, I think it moved" Yikes, that sounds like a sitcom....(grins)

                  No offense.

Is the Rx pills?  If so, it doesn't matter.  TSA is not ATF and doesn't screen pills.  They don't care.  Bring it how you want.

If, however, it is a liquid and you want to bring more than 3oz, bring the bottle with the Rx on the side.  If you want to bring a smaller quantity and put it in a tiny bottle, they don't care.

They don't check the 1 qt baggies individually; I've put all kinds of weird stuff in there.  Mostly, they just bust you for big bottles of liquid.

                    Ultima tastes like failure.

I guess I won a duck pass. Smile

Ilene - not at all, in fact, I`ll have two of them for you.

                      You:re doing great, . . . wearin` racing flats or something?

Maybe we can get Mr. Duck Boat/car to come by the boomer vista.

No particular reason, but are you doing any more halfs before then?

all joking aside, the midnight madness plunge will be a guys/goddess swim around the dock from opposite sides.  With no moon out, it`ll be too dark to tell but, unless you do like your co-coordinators do, just do like mariposai and say you`re wearing one and no one`ll know if you do or don`t, . . . except for tim who`ll be five seconds faster per 100yards w/o. Big grin

Really, I am NOT packing already.  I was just starting to speculate on what I will need to pack.  There are a few items I will need to buy beforehand (i.e. travel-sized stuff), and I don't want to wait until the last minute, that's all...

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

                            yay! TimBo's coming!

you don't have to rent a car. Just let us know your flight arrival/departure plans and someone - me, Erika, a local, etc. - will be there.

We haven't heard much from Aamos's . . . when are you guys arriving? are you renting a vehicle? needing transportation?

                            Tammy

                            Resting? get a hug!!!

I will have a car, too

Did anyone here get an email invitation from me to join a yahoo group account. rock_run at yahoogroup dot com  is the address. I have created  this so we can chat in shadow land about the logistics. I am new at this group chats...so who knows where it end it up.

I never received that invite Mari. I will try to get in over there.
