No running for 3-4 weeks, as per doctor’s orders. However, I will try to keep up some fitness while the Pace Bunny outruns me.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

Hey Sub--good luck tomorrow!
Thanks, Mike. My training has been light, so expectations are low. Should be fun, though.
Hey--Sub--you should be happy with that aren't you? That's about a 6:30 pace, isn't it? How did you place?
Thanks, Mike. 4th in AG, I'll take it! Sounds like you had a great last long run today -- nice work!
SubDood ?
Oops, oh yeah, I skipped protocol and forgot to request my Free Pass.
I was downhill skiing in Big Sky, Montana that week with a bunch of old Navy buddies (including a fellow submarine dude). No running whatsoever ... and no regrets!
Thanks Holly!
