      DAY PLANNED RUN STAT BIKE CORE/STRENGTH COMMENTS
      Mon Rest; 15 Min Core     .25 min Core - lackluster, but done
      Tues Core/Strength; 30 Min Stat Bike   30 min 1 hr My legs are still tired from the weekend
      Wed 7 Miles w/3 Endurance Intervals 7 miles     Three 1-mile intervals with 1/2 mile recovery in between, then one final 1/2 mile interval in the 6th mile.
      Thurs Core/Strength; 3 EZ Miles 3 miles   .75 min LB and core only.  My right hand is messed up, so would be stupid to try and lift weights.
      Fri Rest        
      Sat 22 Trail Miles 22 miles     Did much better w/nutrition and fluids intake.  Felt good when I was done, although tired.  The trick: Eat a lot and eat often.
      Sun 10 Trail Miles 10 miles     Very tired legs
      TOTALS   42 miles 30 min 2 hours

        I'm gonna play it by ear this week, I'm a stay at home Dad while Adriana is in Mexico , How do three kids go through so much laundry?Shocked

         

        Monday:

        Tuesday:

        Wednesday:

        Thursday:  Finally! a chance to run!   7 muddy trail miles 10:16 pace

        Friday:

        Saturday: 13.3 trail miles, 10:59 pace

        Sunday: Cleaned the house, more laundry and two birthday parties... HONEY COME HOME!

          As they said on Buffy... once more, with feeling...

           

          day seems like a good idea how it panned out lame excuses and rationalizations
          Monday yoga, walk yoga ended up going prom dress shopping w/DD, necessary but not exercise, oh well
          Tuesday intervals 9.41 miles 3.27 miles w/u, 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 timed ladder, 1.84 miles c/d; 8:02 avg pace for tempo intervals, perfect!
          Wednesday run 3.8 miles, yoga  
          Thursday run 5.25 miles 10:09 avg pace, a bit fast for recovery but it felt slow
          Friday yoga yoga gentle class, but the theme was deep....
          Saturday 5k race 5.46 miles ... and a brand new 5k PR of 26:04! Smile
          Sunday run 7.57 miles not as far as I had hoped, but I ran with good company Smile
          totals will try for 40 mpw again... 31.5 miles, 3x yoga

            I believe we had a couple successful racers this weekend.  OM, congrats on  PR in the 5k  and Jim knocked 'em dead in the half marathon.  Nice going, the both of you!

              I'm going to play this week to keep myself accountable (NO RUNNING!!!!)

               

              Monday: Upper body weights, 2 mile walk

              Tuesday: nothin'

              Wednesday: Upper body weights, massage

              Thursday: 20 minutes of stairs, 3 mile walk

              Friday: Upper body weights, 20 min cycling

              Saturday: 4 mile walk

              Sunday: 10 mile walk

               

              Totals: 3 sessions of weights, 20 min cycling, 19 miles of walkng

                There ya go, Dove. This is a great place to see all that you CAN do when you're not running. I'm the poster child for that stuff... Take care and I hope the ankle clears up quickly. That seems to be my problem lately... I sprain my ankle or aggravate tendons there far too easily.

                Monday: 5.4 miles run @ 8:24... a little too fast after yesterday's hills; .4 mile walk c/d

                Tuesday: 5.1 miles run @ 8:21 avg, .2 mile walk c/d

                Wednesday: Work enforced rest day: no time for anything!

                Thursday: 1.7 on the stationary bike, 1.7 miles on the treadmill... too hot and crowded, I gave up!

                Friday: 8.4 miles @ 8:21 avg pace outside (yay!), .4 mile walk c/d

                Saturday: 10.6 miles @ 8:18 avg pace, .4 mile walk

                Sunday: 15.2 miles run, .2 mile walk

                 

                Totals: 46.5 miles running, a little stationary bike and walking but no elliptical. First time for that in awhile.
