Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Thanks Holly! Congratulations, again another marathon finish! I'll have to take a pass for the next couple of weeks as I prepare for the National Senior Games. But, here is my plan...
DAY
Day Plan Done
Tues 7-10 10
Wed 7 trail 6 - HILL
Notes: If I'd known it was PAVED, I would not have worn trail shoes - and gaiters! If I'd known it was literally unrunnable UPhill and nearly unrunnable DOWNhill and suck my run-loving heart dry of its will to ...well....keep running, I would have postponed it until after this Saturdays 18'er, for sure!
Thurs 7 7
Sat 18 18 trail (Felt the effects of Wed. HILL in my knees; otherwise alright.)
Total: 40-ish 41
Don't make excuses for why you can't get it done.
Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.
Hey stranger,
Congrats on another marathon! You're catching up to me in the Asylum with only one more marathon/ultra to tie. After racing my first duathlon Sunday, I'm prepared now to get back on track with long runs to train for St. George in the fall.
