Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Getting back in shape... Just need it to be a skinnier shape...
Heal up Kelly.
A little late but back in.

Howdy. Long time no see. I've been struggling with my work/commuting schedule to get basic mileage in. I haven't had a training plan for quite some time, so I decided to make one in the hopes that it'll motivate me to get runs in, even on the long work days.
I did get my 40 in this week...44 in fact...and tomorrow begins my base-building for Richmond in the Fall. I will be in here regularly from now on. (If I say it often enough, maybe it'll happen!)
Thanks to Holly for keeping this thread going!
Be safe. Be kind.
KellyDodge - hope you heal up quickly. Taking time off now is better than being out the whole season.
Consistently Slow
34.9 miles.
Closest I have been to 40 in 5 weeks.
Run until the trail runs out.

Greatly enjoyed running Boston this year,
the weather was not all that great, there was
some rain and winds, but overall not too bad.
The really tough part was walking back to the
park after the finish and waiting in line to get
my clothes back
Late again, 40 through the 13th-19th (had to do Sunday eve 3 miler to make it!) and an even 15 through the 26th. Very much recovery mode from the half which, in combination with some allergies, left me pretty wiped out. Did a short hill climb workout on Thursday (nearly 500' over 1100 yards) with a couple of pick ups. Other than just easy running. Had a good 14 mile trail run on Saturday before monsoons hit. Will do a 25K on the same course this weekend.
