Logistical Question About a NC HM (Read 168 times)

There is a half marathon in North Carolina on November 22. The url is http://www.ncraces.com/index.php?pr=State%20Bank%20Half%20Marathon. It says it is in Rocky Mount. Does anybody know how far of a drive this would be from the Durham area? I am asking since I going to be in Durham on business this fall and may try to schedule it for a date that would make running this possible, but only if we are talking about reasonable drive times. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Twocat, Rocky Mount is north of Raleigh...from Durham, you're probably talking about an hour and a half. DickyG

There is a half marathon in Raleigh on November 2. www.cityofoaksmarathon.com I did the half last year and it was fun.
Thanks for the answers. Kind of a long drive . . . have to think about it. The November 2 race does sound like fun but it is also the day of the NYC Marathon that I am running. Things always seem to work that way.

Sure thing! With a bit of planning I am sure it will not be a problem.
