Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

I will likely need a pass. Coming off 3 marathons in 3 weeks, and I have a biopsy Friday in which the Dr will remove a mole off my right lower calf. Was told no running for a week. Will see how long that lasts
15 miles this week. Need a pass. Thanks Holly!

Ok...It's been far to long. I'm back in.
No plan, just run.
Damn Union. Going after those maniac stars eh. Good luck with the biopsy.
Glad to see you back Slo.
Thanks Holly. I'm in.

Yeah...Just need to push life to the side and concentrate on the more important things!
I fell way short...but me in for 29 miles. I also need to get back in the habit of updating my log.

Thank You - I dont anticipate problems with the biopsy. But it is on my lower right calf, so I will have several stitches and not be able to run for a short while.

Thanks Holly! Yep--I'm back. And, until I decide on my next marathon, I'll be like Slo and just run with no plan...

Finally breaking out of the post marathon and move transition phase of 40-41 mile weeks. 50 for the week.
Fartlek on Wednesday, 10K race/age group win on Saturday, and 90 minutes in Waterton Canyon on Sunday. Saw wild turkeys, a big mule deer buck, and about 20 bighorn sheep.
Just a dude.
Finally may be on the mend.
Got 47.6 miles in last week and ended up running every day. Things aren't perfect and I'm running pretty slow and easy. But maybe I will be back on track...

Getting back in shape... Just need it to be a skinnier shape...
