      I’ll see you soon Holly….Thanks for doing this and keeping us all on track! 3/17-----8 miles recovery pace---8 untimed miles 3/18-----16 mile big workout (wu, 4x25 mins hard, with 2 mins rest, cd---keep at 2:13 overall)---16 miles--2:13 overall--speedy sections at 7:40 pace and lower--5 minutes rest---trashed now 3/19-----8 easy with SkipAZ!----9 miles with Skip--just under 9:00 pace or so 3/20-----8-11 with Holly!---9.25 with Holly 3/21-----10 mile dyno/fartlek workout on hilly route----switched out runs and ran 4 at easy-ish pace/8:33 and change 3/22-----3-4 easy--8 mile dyno/fartlek on hilly route---8.4 miles--fartlek--7:44-46 pace 3/23-----20 miles with 14-17 at mp if the body is willing----20.3 miles after Easter sunrise service with a nice group---no mp miles, but good pace all the same---3:04 and 9:05 pace or so, very hilly Total----73-76--75 miles--most since 1988 in a marathon training cycle SLEEP---get to bed b4 10 PM!---not so much this week Sad Keep doing the real food thing---lower to the ground is best----pretty good----are jelly beans low to the ground? Weights/abs/core stuff 3x week---done

          Hello 40/40s!! Please accept my 41 mile week schedule(the most attempted to date). I've been ever so slowly bumping up the miles and hope to reach the coveted 40 mile mark by weeks end. Smile Mon.....rest........rest Tues....6miles......9miles Wed....9miles......6.2miles Thurs...rest........rest Frid.....6miles......6miles Sat......rest........rest Sun.....20miles.....20miles Total...41.2 miles (personal weekly best) Thank you , Holly!

            Thanks again Holly, it's soooo nice of you to do this for all of us Smile Mon - 11 easy miles - tired and sore from Sat's 18 miler Tues - Rest day - IT band a little sore and tight...being careful Weds - 6.5 miles- felt horrible...sucky run for what ever reasons Angry Thurs - 10.2 miles - kept it easy and felt a little better Fri - Rest Sat - 11 easy miles - still sore and sluggish Angry, cut run short of planned 15 miler Sun - 6.8 easy miles - finally felt a little better Total - 45.5 - Hope I'm over my running funk this week Confused Tim

            Running has given me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike spirit to have fun along the way - Run often and run long, but never outrun your Joy of running!

                Here's my plan for the week. Since Sunday is Easter, I'm already making plans to do my long run on Friday afternoon or else I'll be out there Sunday morning racing the Easter Bunny to get home and have my family over for brunch!
