Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thanks, Holly.
Another atypical week with the holiday and return back to work after vacation. Extra "long" run means unusually high mileage...in theory. I may play it by ear but the plan is...
Be safe. Be kind.

Don't make excuses for why you can't get it done.
Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.

The Memorial Day 4 miler did not go well,
I ran a full minute slower than last year.
Still got 1st in the AG, and 1st place masters team.
I'm on vacation as of Friday,
so don't expect to run that much
I'm in the Pacific Northwest. In my log entry for May 24, I made the map public so you can see where that trail is. I restarted the watch for the trip downhill, but either entry will give you the map to show you the exact location.
Yeah, I said it. Sproinkity-sproink sproink sproink. That's what that run felt like! I wish I could bottle that feeling.
