Jay - I’ve never run a relay and I never will but if I did, it would have to be one like you and the Rosie runners, especially with a name like that
Ribs, If you're in the mood for fine dining, there is a Chuck E Cheese in Tampa.
Have your DH do a rain dance backwards, Erika. It can not hurt. How is the garage coming?
Rosie Ruiz sounds like an amazing experience, TwoCat.
Cheers C-R!!! BAA!
Greta post Enke. Very happy for you and Mr.C.
This is a copy of the article that ran in the paper:
"MESICK — The dog days of summer may be far behind, but the “dawg” days ofautumn were just starting for families at the Mesick Dawg Days FallFestival.Families came to the Mesick area for two days of fun that included livemusic, an art and craft fair and a 5K color dash. The chilly early morningweather didn’t stop families from riding the carnival rides or gearing upfor a race to the finish line.Stephen Pankowski, a resident of Buckley, said he’s ran in more than 200races but 5K races are a favorite for he and his pet dog Tag. Pankowski, 52,ran alongside both his dog and his grandson, Noah, during the Saturdaymorning race.“I felt like a rainbow after having so many different colors thrown at meand I ended up getting beat by a 6 year old,” Pankowski said. “But it wasstill a good time and a great family activity.”Pankowski said he thought the event was a great way to bring the communitytogether and celebrate the fall."The interviewer ask a lot about Noah and Tag. Anyway, Noah is excited and is taking his copy of the article into "Show and Tell".

whew, I thought you were going to say that it’s “amazing you can do these things without any teeth” and “I suppose being too stupid to quit. helps” . . .
Tet - you are my hero....
Mike - I have a Nathan hydration vest that cost a ridiculous amount, and I have never used it. Each time I started to, it just felt heavy and cumbersome and noisy. I was just planning on bringing a small handheld. But then, I am just doing the 50K.
Enke - that sounds wonderful!
Steve - nice notoriety!
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
