srlopez, we are very arty and abstracted here sometimes! I hope little Tobias isn't in a funk today {{{Spareribs butt cheek}}} {{Holly's wonky toe}} I ran 19 miles this morning along the beach path. You have to give those surfers credit, year round in any kind of weather they are out there...squirming in and out of wet suits just for me! Blush
We live miles from the sea so all we see are potholers squirming in and out of wet suits I don't think they are as pleasing to the eye as surfers.

They are pleasing to the eye! Strapping healthy young men with broad shoulders and narrow hips most of them. Smile Not much to talk to, but looking at is all I want. Cool

anachrotech well 2 on the TM seems like 20. Dead Walt.RB well if 2 TM miles are like 20 then 5.3 would be like . . . Dead
How far would that be in dog miles? Big grin woof to Tobias! Twocat, sorry to hear you're still having trouble - hope you can sort it out. Maybe try a placebo? Wink Peter, doing yardwork in January sounds odd! Teresa, nice run with your son! Wouldn't it be great to be as fast as he is? You could fit in so many more miles! Liz, nice 10-miler! And there's no fine for zipping and unzipping... Speaking of fines, is there one for taking off my windshirt mid-run and tying it around a tree? I went for a hilly run in two inches of fresh snow with Tazzie and Ladybug, 5.2 miles, untimed, 24F. Picked up the windshirt on the way home and put it on, as the sun went behind a cloud and it got chilly.

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

No fine Carolyn. That is the right way to do it. Liz, nice going on that long run! Wow! Spareribs

And to watch them try to squirm in and out of their wetsuits with a towel around they waists. Someday one of those towels will fall off at the most appropriate time. Big grin

((((Holly's Toe)))) ((((SR's Butt)))) ((((Twocat's leg)))) I'm posting today's run rather late in the day as I have been at the gymnastics gym all day with youngest dd. Ran an easy 5 miles this morning in 39:38. I tried really hard to keep this easy easy so it must be a good sign that it was difficult to run 8:00s. I can do it but I have to concentrate. Hopefully keeping it easy today will pay off for tomorrow's long run. Ilene, I get to see lots of those young gentlemen on my runs as well. Actually, I get to see a somewhat older man (dh) changing in and out of his wetsuit on a regular basis. Big grin Mari, lovely photos yesterday. Wow, it is gorgeous there. Re the glucosamine, I have to admit to never actually getting through four weeks of it before giving up. I will have to commit to trying it for 6 weeks to see if it makes any difference. I have not noticed a difference after 3 weeks, but I may not be giving it enough time. Twocat, I wish I had any idea about the leg problem. Is there just soreness and no pain but then an inability to actually make the leg do what you want it to do? It does seem like something a specialist should take a look at. I hate going to the doctor because I know that they will want you to take off from running before they do anything. Best of luck figuring out the problem and hey, better is better.
